Club Mission Statement

1. At present our club has 64 Rotarians and 8 lady Rotarians out of these 5 members have     paid the fees but are not attending and might leave the club for various reasons. Net     Rotarians as on 1st July 2014 would be 59 Rotarians and 8 Lady Rotarians. 2. We plan to add 10 new Rotarians and 5 new Lady Rotarians in 2014-15. 3. We will involve past members and encourage them to again become member of our club. 4. Rotary information and activities carried out by the club, effects and benefits of our     significant projects would be imparted to new prospective members. 5. Classification wise list of present members would be prepared and efforts for adding new     classifications like Social workers, Sportsman, Actors, Singers would be made. A.Non Medical : 1. Rotary ‘Annad Ustav’ programme would be conducted on National Holidays 15th Aug. &     26th Jan. at NGOs in Rural / Urban areas.     2. Tree plantation, donation of clothes / uniforms / utility products as required by NGO     will be done at Anand Ustav Proogramme. 3. Project for donation for school benches and other infrastructure will be done in rural area     schools. 4. RDEP installation projects and donation of RDEP - Tab to blind schools will be executed. 5. Cultural night at Paraplegic Centre for Military Jawans at Khadkee is planned. Projects for installation of Water tank, Water purification unit, Tree plantation will be done      at Velhe village near Torana and at Gogalwadi near Khed Shivapur and at Happy Village. 7.  Solar light projects will be implemented in rural areas. 8.  Uniform and foot wear distribution projects will be done in the schools in rural areas. 9.   Projects for Vocational Training and Rehabilitation of disabled persons would be carried        out by identifying the industrial products for Vocational Training and by Donating plant,        Machinery and Infrastructure to the NGO working for disabled persons. 10.Vocational training and rehabilitation of disabled persons is planned on Mega scale,         jointly with other clubs interested in this area. 11.  Matching grant projects and package grant projects will be planed for Vocational Training.       . Medical projects – 1.Mammography check-up camps would be undertaken for Women in slum areas. 2.   Health check-up camp would be taken in slum areas and awards would be given for        A. Healthy Family.        B. Healthy Mother.        C. Healthy Child. 3.  Possibility for AIDS awareness centre with the help of NARI would be explored and       would be established. 4. De addiction campaign would be implemented to create awareness in the society. 5. Blood donation camp will be arranged in July’ 2014. 6.  Eye Check-up and Eye surgery camp will be arranged. 7. Three medical check-up camps will be organised at interact schools. C. Vocational Service : 1.  Industrial visits will be arranged for Rotarians and Anns. 2.  NGO visit at Cancer detection centre / leprosy centre will be arranged for Rotarians      and Anns. 3.  Vocational Excellence Awards would be given to social workers working for the      neglected section of the society and especially to a person working in NGO for leprosy. 4.Visits of Rotract club and Interact clubs will be arranged at NGOs and at industries in        and around Pune.

In Order to A  -  Add New Members. B  -  Involve and retain existing members. C  -  Increase image of Rotary. D  -  Get new speakers for the meetings. E  -  Get new project ideas which society except from Rotary. F  -  Involve people from society in Rotary activities. We have floated -   A new concept in which Rotarian and each Ann will be given a form for – “MEMBERSHIP DEVELOPMENT AND ROTARY AWARNESS DRIVE PLAN” and follow up will be made to them to contact 5 persons each who will be 1. Relative   2. Person from your profession 3. A person staying in your society 4. Your personal friend other than 1, 2, 3 5. Any other person say Grocery shop keeper, watchman, Laundry shop keeper, House maid     etc.
